I'm trying to understand why my father and my grandfather scream “goal” every time that that team scores. I’m trying to understand why my country stops when is Sunday, at 4PM. I’m trying to understand why people celebrate every time that that man with an armband rises up that cup. I’m trying to understand why people cry, smile, scream, bite their fingers and stay in silence till that 90 minutes are over. I’m trying to understand why my heart beats for that ball and for these teams. I’m trying to understand, but I’ll never understand. Football is beyond my understanding. Football is a passion, football is a love. Football is everything. Emotions, despair, happiness, sadness… Football is life.
